Jean-Claude Veyre
Jean-Claude Veyre (1957) studied electrical engineering at ETH Zurich, graduating in 1980 as an electrical engineer. On completion of his studies he joined Haefely & Cie AG in Basel where his final position was that of Development Manager in the field of network components. He then joined K. Schweizer AG in Basel as a Project Manager in the field of engineering. During this period, his particular focus was quality management and as Project Manager he steered the company towards its ISO 9001 certification. He was subsequently promoted to Quality Manager for the entire group. In 2000, he switched to consultancy and in 2001 set up an independent consultancy firm with a partner. During this period, he worked with the former HSK as an external coach helping them achieve ISO 9001 certification. In June 2004, Jean-Claude Veyre joined HSK as Manager of the Resources and Logistical Section and in 2005 added the role of quality management officer to his responsibilities. His main projects have included the introduction of the electronic management and business control systems and the implementation of the transition from HSK to ENSI. In addition, he often acted for the IAEA as an expert in management systems. On 1 February 2009, Jean-Claude Veyre was appointed Head of the new Resources Division, which encompasses the inter-divisional functions of ENSI.
