Tamara Garny
Tamara Garny studied English and German Literature and Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Zurich. She went on to complete post-graduate studies in Business Administration and NPO Management, and was also awarded a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) after taking professional development courses in the fields of change management and leadership coaching.
She has many years of technical and personnel management experience in a range of support areas. Over the course of the past 14 years, she worked in a number of different roles within the Swiss Insurance Association (SVV), and was was an Executive Board member and Director of the Finance, HR and Administration Department since 2011. She was previously Corporate Services Director and Director of Organisation and Planning. Before joining SVV, she worked for Sulzer Medica as a brand manager, and prior to that was employed as a client projects consultant at the Zurich-based branding agency Interbrand Zintzmeyer & Lux.
Tamara Garny is head of the Resources Division since June 2018. This division includes the Human Resources, Finance, IT and Administration Sections.
